Fluoride treatments are an easy way to help protect your tooth enamel and prevent cavities. During the treatment, the hygienist applies fluoride to your teeth. You’ll be free to eat and drink 30 minutes later.

Dental sealants are one way to help prevent cavities from forming in the deep pits and grooves of your child’s molars.
They are composed of clear or tooth-coloured acrylic-like materials that bond to the teeth.

Scaling and root planing is the treatment for periodontal (gum) disease. The dental hygienist will remove the plaque and tartar buildup under and around the gums. This provides a clean, smooth surface for the gums to heal and reattach to the teeth.

If you experience issues with bruxism (like teeth grinding or clenching), a night guard can help. The goal of this appliance is to protect your teeth from excessive wear by allowing your jaw joints and muscles to relax.

A properly fitted mouthguard can do more than just prevent chipped or broken teeth. It protects the soft tissues around the mouth and can reduce the risk of a jaw fracture. It can also reduce the risk and severity of concussions.
